1. What does "Phenomenal Woman" mean to you?
A Phenomenal Woman means a resilient, extraordinary, and sensational woman that wears her crown in her soul. She knows her purpose lies within in her control. She is the ruler of her own life and strives for GREATNESS in all that she does to serve something bigger than her. She has endured trials and triumphs, but she let’s neither define her existence. She is a phenomenal woman who is unlearning everything she thought she knew to become exactly who she was created to be. LIMITLESS.

2. What is your brand and how did you get started?
Queens Conquer is a public relations firm that serves women in business, offering services such as media relations, social media management, event marketing & more. We are a community of fearless and passionate women who are owning our purpose.  I created Queens Conquer to showcase women who aren’t represented in media by providing a platform where women can learn from another by sharing our stories, goals and passions to empower each other to conquer our dreams.

After I graduated Texas State University in May of 2015, I found that most media companies and PR firms required at least 3-5 years experience so I decided to make my own way. I reached out to an old employer and proposed to help them rebrand their fashion boutique to connect with their community more efficiently. Less than one month after graduation, they hired to be their full-time PR & Marketing consultant. I would coordinate and style photoshoots, manage their website, send newsletters, manage their social media accounts, coordinate in store events/pop-ups and get them in magazines and on TV. Once I realized how much value I had to offer,  I began taking on other clients and projects serving a variety of women owned businesses around Austin.

3. What is your dream goal and how do you plan on achieving it?
My dream goal would be to have a full team of creative women from graphic designers to marketing experts who have one common goal- accurately representing women in the media. Also, providing mentorship and internships for high school and college students to give them hands on experience, but mostly to give them an opportunity to see women in a space where they are doing what they love and living limitlessly to challenge the status quo.

"I believe it will all fall in place in due time, everything is a
stepping stone."

4. Name a moment that inspired you to feel more confident and inspired you to be comfortable in the skin you are in.
Two years ago, shortly after I graduated college I went through a major transition period where I was ready to take risks and grow into the woman I was created to be; Even if it meant leaving behind old friends, relationships and habits. I cut my hair and let go of everything that was weighing me down. I realized that I had the power to create greatness and write my story. I began wearing less make-up, rockin’ my curly fro and doing what I loved- empowering women to conquer from within.

5. Name a person (dead or alive) that you look up to & why?
There are celebrities I admire for their style, grace, and humility such as Yara Shahidi, Alicia Keys, Karen Civil & Oprah Winfrey, but then there’s my mother. She is who I look to as a reminder of why I hustle hard, have the ability to adapt to any environment and remain true to my purpose. She has a go-getter attitude, humble spirit, risk taker mentality and independent mindset that has been instilled in me since I was a child.

6. When it comes to being a woman, what do you feel should be the three core values that a lady should uphold?
Loyalty
Persistence
Love
Service
Purpose
Humility

(I got on a roll.LOL)

7. Favorite quote and what it means to you?
"That since day one. She’s already had everything she needs within herself. It was the world that convinced her she did not.”- Rupi Kaur

8. Piece of advice that you would give to young girls who aren't confident with themselves?

Listen to yourself. Follow your heart. Stop second guessing your GREATNESS. Reflect on how far you’ve come. How much you’ve evolved. How hard you’ve worked. Be confident in your journey, most importantly be confident in yourself. No one is you and that’s your power. Trust yourself.
